The first time I caught Giant Trevally(GT) was in Bali. The currents in the island were so rough that I was about to fall off our boat. Keep casting and casting for three days. And at the last date,
“The moment I had waited for years “
Even if you can get a bite of GT, this fish’s strong pull make it difficult to catch. After many fights and line breaks, my dream finally came true. The GT was about 20kg.
My father unfortunately could not catch a GT in Bali. The glory moment came to him years later in Palau.
